Among other unique features of the electric car it is worth noting the fact that the passenger capsule is made of carbon fiber (the rarest case among mass cars), and the body design uses ultra-light magnesium alloys. As a result, i3 was lightweight - 1195 kg. And this at 3999 mm in length, 1775 mm in width and 1578 mm in height.
Thanks to a 2570 mm distance between the axles, BMW specialists managed to make the interior of the i3 spacious for its class. And, in not enough room for luggage. And if you fold up the rear seats, the amount of space for the load and altogether increase to 1100 liters.
