It's like the BMW X3, only with an electric motor. The Bavarians are bringing to the market their all-electric compact crossover almost the last in the class, but they immediately mark the leader.
There are not so many visual differences between the electric crossover and its gasoline and diesel counterparts: these are new bumpers, "deaf" nostrils and contrasting decorative inserts. 19-inch aerodynamic wheels are fitted as standard to reduce electricity consumption. Although the final coefficient of aerodynamic drag Cd of the "electric train" is slightly lower than that of the usual BMW X3: 0.29 instead of 0.30.
The crossover electric motor has a power of 286 hp. The car picks up the first hundred on the speedometer in 6.8 seconds, the maximum speed is electronically limited to 180 km / h. The underfloor lithium-ion battery pack provides a range of 410 km. With a 150 kW charging station, the battery can be charged up to 80% in 34 minutes.
Externally, the electric crossover can be recognized by its characteristic rims - large and narrow, with an aerodynamic design, closed "nostrils" and contrasting decorative inserts.
The interior of the electric car is generally the same as that of the "regular" BMW X3, but the virtual instrument cluster is "in the base", and it is the same as in the more recent models of the company. Standard equipment also includes LED headlights, three-zone climate control, panoramic roof, electric fifth door, advanced cruise control and a proprietary complex of electronic assistants.
