The 2020 Bolt EV gets a redesigned 66 kWh battery from LG, up from the previous 60 kWh. The EPA-certified range has grown from 383 km to 417 km. Other characteristics have not changed: the Bolt EV is still equipped with a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor that turns the front wheels. The electric hatchback accelerates to 60 mph (96.56 km / h) in 6.5 seconds. It takes 10 hours to fully charge the battery from a household outlet.
