The Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car is a crossover with a length of 4635 mm, a width of 1890 mm and a height of 1605 mm with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The angular design is inspired by the 1975 Hyundai Pony, the first model of the Korean brand. However, there are also modern features like retractable door handles and pixel diode optics.

In the cabin, a 12-inch virtual instrument panel and multimedia touchscreen are located together, there is also a projection onto the windshield. The transmission selector was moved to the steering column, which freed up space between the seats.

The front seats of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 2021 themselves can be folded out, and the center console can be moved back 140 mm. Thus, the driver can leave the car through the passenger door.

The rear seats are horizontally adjustable. Trunk volume is 531 liters, and with folded seats - 1600 liters. There is also a small trunk in the front: its volume is 57 liters in rear-wheel drive versions and 24 liters in rear-wheel drive versions.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car will be available in four variants:

• one motor, 168 hp. from. and 350 Nm, rear-wheel drive, 8.5 s to 100 km / h;

• one motor, 215 hp. from. and 350 Nm, rear-wheel drive, 7.4 s to 100 km / h;

• two motors, 232 hp. from. and 605 Nm, four-wheel drive, 6.1 s to 100 km / h;

• two motors, 302 hp. from. and 605 Nm, four-wheel drive, 5.2 s to 100 km / h;

Top speed is limited to 185 km / h on all Ioniq 5. Variants with 168 and 232 hp. from. received a 58 kWh battery, and the other two - 72.6 kWh. In the latter case, the power reserve is 480 km (according to the WLTP cycle).

You can recharge from a powerful 350-kilowatt station to 80% in just 18 minutes. You can also order solar panels for the roof.
