Dimensions Mercedes-Benz EQA - 4463x1834x1620 mm, wheelbase - 2729 mm. Thus, it is slightly longer and taller than its co-platform with an internal combustion engine, but does not differ from it in width and distance between the axles. The luggage compartment holds from 340 to 1320 liters of cargo (according to the European VDA system). Its curb weight is 2040 kg.
The compact SUV made its debut in the uncontested EQA 250. Its only 190 hp asynchronous electric motor. and 375 Nm is installed on the front axle. It is powered by a 420-volt lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 66.5 kilowatt-hours, which consists of 200 cells, combined into five modules. An onboard 11-kilowatt device and support for 100-kilowatt terminals are provided - using the latter, charging from 10% to 80% will take about half an hour.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA 250 reaches 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds and can accelerate to a maximum of 160 km / h. The estimated range according to the NEDC cycle is 486 kilometers, according to the modern and more accurate WLTP method - 426 kilometers. Later, the line will be expanded: power over 272 hp, four-wheel drive and a range of more than 500 km on a single charge (according to WLTP) have already been promised.
The digital driver's interface consists of two combined screens, the size of which, depending on the level of equipment, is 7 or 10.25 inches. An original decorative insert was made on the passenger side of the front panel.
Especially for this model, Mercedes-Benz has developed exclusive light-alloy wheels up to 20 inches, which are available in two or three colors. 18-inch wheels are standard. Also in the basic equipment of the EQA, based on the Progressive line of the GLA crossover, includes:
• adaptive headlights;
• electric tailgate;
• luxury seats with four-way adjustment;
• proprietary infotainment system MBUX;
• navigation with route planning function taking into account the remaining charge;
• нeat pump;
• assistants for braking and keeping the car in the lane.
Personalization options include the Electric Art and AMG Line trims as well as the night package with black details. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz EQA Edition 1 with AMG decor and special leather seats will be available for the first year of sales. The range of options is predictably wide - from the head-up display and proprietary Energizing comfort control to adaptive dampers and advanced driving assistants.
