In more than 180 countries of the world, decorative illumination of streets, public recreation areas, illumination of architectural monuments, government agencies, shopping centers, etc., will go out for one hour. Millions of people will turn off the lights in their homes. Ukraine has been an active participant in this campaign for 11 years and every year we see an increase in interest in it, both ordinary citizens and representatives of government, business, education and culture. Already about 70 cities have officially joined Earth Hour. Hundreds of organizations, businesses and educational institutions organize educational events in support of the campaign and the economical use of nature.

Everyone can see firsthand how on March 30, at 20:30, they turn off their lighting: the Archcathedral Cathedral of St. Jura and the TV tower at the High Castle in Lviv; Primorsky Boulevard, Dumskaya Square and the City Council in Odessa; Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnitsa; Holy Annunciation Cathedral in Kharkov; Lutsk and Ternopil castles, Khotyn fortress and other famous attractions and objects throughout the country.
