Nissan announced that Leaf e+ with an extended power reserve is available for purchase throughout Europe, its deliveries begin now, and dealers can offer their customers test drives. Leaf e + enters the European market on time, as promised in January 2019.
According to Nissan, about 8,000 orders were made for the new version of the e + with a battery with a capacity of 62 kWh and a power reserve of 385 km on the WLTP cycle or 364 km on the EPA rating.
The novelty is equipped with a 160 kW electric motor with a torque of 340 NM. The battery can be charged on fast charge using CHAdeMO with a peak power of 100 kW.
The number of orders is not very large, but Nissan reported more than 3,000 pre-orders for Leaf e + during the first month.
