Mercedes-Benz began selling the EQC electric crossover in Europe. While the novelty is available only in one modification at a price of 71,281 euros, and since its value excluding taxes does not exceed 60,000 euros, German buyers can count on a government subsidy.

EQC production is established at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. They also produce C-Class sedans and all-rounders, as well as GLC and GLC Coupe crossovers. Serial EQC 400 4Matic is equipped with two electric motors, which together give 408 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. A traction battery with a capacity of 80 kilowatt-hours provides up to 471 kilometers of run in a NEDC cycle. Charging from a high-speed DC terminal takes 40 minutes.

Already in the base of the Mercedes-Benz EQC is equipped with the MBUX media complex with two 10.25-inch displays and functions optimized for electric cars. For example, on a digital dashboard, the current power consumption and power reserve are displayed instead of the tachometer. Additionally for EQC, you can order a set of active electronic assistants and AMG Line packages for interior and exterior.

Mercedes-Benz EQC buyers are also offered an extended warranty (only in Germany) and several service packages. Routine maintenance of electric vehicles provides for free evacuation and return delivery of the car to the owner. In addition, the owners will get access to the Mercedes me Charge service and the IONITY charging station network.
