The car will be built on the basis of the prototype Vision iV, which was shown at the last Geneva Motor Show. The novelty will be built on the modular platform MEB of the Volkswagen concern, designed specifically for cars with all-electric power plants.
All other technical details about the new product are kept secret. As for the prototype, it is equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 306 liters. pp., which transmit thrust on both axles and allow you to accelerate to 180 km per hour. Also in the near future, Skoda will present special home charging stations for its electric cars. A small device will be mounted in the garage or near the parking lot of the car. In total, Skoda plans to present over 30 new models by the end of 2022. Of these, 10 will have a hybrid or all-electric powerplant.
