FAW-Volkswagen recently announced the official launch of the all-electric 2021 Bora. The new car has released a total of 3 configurations.
It uses a clean power system and adds a large custom version of entry-level models.
The exterior of the new Bora Pure Electric is modernized for age. It basically follows the design of the current model. In particular, the front of the new car is equipped with a horizontal polygonal air intake grille, and the interior space is filled. with dense horizontal chrome stripes. The front surrounding lower structure is clearly different from that of the fuel version: the three-stage shape is combined with C-shaped daytime running lights on both sides for an especially dynamic look.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new Bora Pure Electric are 4671/1815/1473 mm and the wheelbase is 2680 mm. At the rear of the 2021 Bora Pure Electric, a smooth roofline slides towards the rear, forming a tiny protrusion on the trunk lid. The flat taillights on both sides look like headlights. The LED light source is used internally, which is highly recognizable under night lighting. The rear piping has a sophisticated shape, while the top features chrome piping through.
In accordance with the various configurations of the new Bora Pure Electric, the seats in the car are respectively upholstered in fabric or leatherette. The materials and workmanship of the Bora power rear seats are on par with the front row seats. The sides of the rear seats are more wrapped around the sides.
The electric vehicle is equipped with a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor with a maximum power of 136 horsepower and a maximum torque of 290 Nm. In terms of the transmission system, it coincides with a single reduction gearbox. In terms of battery life, the new car is equipped with a triple lithium-ion battery and the range has been increased from 270 kilometers for the old model to 346 kilometers.
