“The new Bolt EUV is the best of the Bolt EV packaged in an SUV-like vehicle with more technology and features, giving customers more choice and reasons to switch to an electric motor,” said Steve Hill, vice president of Chevrolet.

The Bolt EUV brings character to the burgeoning small SUV segment with a modern muscular design, a more spacious interior and more legroom in the rear. It also features a distinctive front end with a sculpted grille and signature lighting, including standard LED headlights and Chevy signature high-view daytime running lights that serve as sequential turn signals.

Additional styling cues include a center crease line that runs from the dash across the bonnet and seamless horizontal body lines that create a sense of movement even when the car is stationary. The standard roof rails also enhance the SUV's aesthetics.

Inside, the car features new dashboards, vehicle controls and seats, a 10.2-inch color touchscreen infotainment system and integrated climate control common to both. The information display in the instrument panel is 8-inches.

The electronic gear shifter has also been updated, which uses traction switches and buttons to create more interior space. For enhanced regenerative braking, there's even a new single-pedal control button that keeps the system running between driving cycles.

The new interior includes a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel that includes a Regen on Demand paddle and a black Chevy bow tie badge. In addition, the updated seats feature a triangular geometric pattern and contrasting color stitching - a premium design that creates a consistent and upscale ambience, while also complementing the new dashboard and steering wheel designs.

An advanced 65 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery helps the Bolt EUV deliver up to 259 miles (402 km) of range when fully charged. The battery system uses Chevy's proven Active Thermal Management System, which uses coolant to keep the battery at ideal operating temperature.

Additional powerplant features include:

 Single-motor drive delivering 200 horsepower (150 kW) and 360 Nm of near-instantaneous torque

 Regeneration on demand, which allows the driver to convert kinetic energy into energy stored in the battery for future use by simply pulling on the paddle mounted on the steering wheel.

 One Pedal Driving allows the driver to accelerate, decelerate and even come to a complete stop using only the accelerator pedal

Chevy Safety Assist comes standard on the Bolt EUV and includes safety and advanced driver assistance technologies such as automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, distance tracking indicator, IntelliBeam and front pedestrian braking.
